According to Wikipedia, the user generated encyclopedia, a carbon footprint is “measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.” Every time a gallon of gas is burned in a car, it releases a pound of carbon dioxide. Its funny to think that gases have weights. Our atmosphere seems weightless and invisible, however Mother Nature reminds us that the atmosphere is very much there and a quite powerful.
